Bettie Monroe is the culimation of a lifelong passion of fashion and design for Lucy Thomas and Helen Fraser, who started out doing their own respective labels and joined forces at the beginning of 2008. "Fashion to us is about playing and creativity.  With fun classic details, beautiful fabrics and flattering elegant lines, it is ideal casual wear which is powerfully feminine.."

Proudly made in New Zealand Bettie Monroe ignites images of the carefree NZ lifestyle - fun, playful, with an outdoorsy colour palette.

"We love retro fashion, it’s the storyboard of the evolution of women gaining freedom and individuality. I think we will always have a retro influence in our clothes.  We make the clothing that we love to wear, so I suppose then that it reflects the life that we live, which is filled with lots of good energy, imagination and humour".

Also stocked in their stylish store is fun range of jewellery, bags, belts to compliment the garments.

Bettie Monroe’s flagship retail shop opened October 2008 in Whangamata, with the most recent shop in Mount Maungaui opening in December 2009.
